Mike Polski, "Dr. Mike" was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Mike was Board Certified by completing a 3 year Family Medicine Residency through Texas A&M, in Temple, Texas, and recently re-certified through 2024. Mike was married to Sharla Friesen (now Sharla Polski) in 1992. After the honeymoon, they went to a mission project on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Monument Valley, UT for 3 years, doing full-spectrum Family Medicine, including C-Sections, also general anesthesia. Mike helped deliver his son (Robbie), and his daughter (Miranda), in the early 90's. They returned to Texas, and have lived in the Cleburne area since 1996. Mike has worked part-time at various ER's around the state. The staff and his wife, Sharla (who helps with billing and accounting) run the Family Medicine Clinic, "Live Oak Family Medicine Center", in Burleson. Mike enjoys reading various topics, but especially studying and learning from the Bible, gardening, running, hiking, joking around, skiing, horseback riding, mission projects, golf, and Health Reform. He enjoys talking about the goodness of God, God's plan for a better life, and praying with patients. His special interests are in anti-aging medicine (using individualized compounded compounds and creams), supplements, bio-identical hormones, IV nutritional therapies, and alternative therapies, with nutritional and lifestyle insights. He enjoys minor office surgeries (including excision of skin cancers, minor plastic surgery, cryofreezing, ingrown toenail excisions, and minor Sports and Orthopedics, including casting. He also works ER for EMCARE in Orthopedic and Spine Centers, a couple of days per week. He donates time seeing patients at free clinics for the poor, the HOPE clinic in Cleburne, and the Crowley House of Hope clinic in Crowley.

Sharla Polski has been the right-hand woman of this family-owned business from the start. She makes sure everything runs smooth behind the scenes, stays on top of billing, and manages book keeping records. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my granddaughter, gardening, going on walks with the dogs, giving vegan cooking classes, learning more about Young Living Essential Oil Products to share with others.
